The Kent and Medway Business Fund is managed by Kent County Council. The fund offers a range of support to businesses with the ideas and drive to power the county’s economy.

The scheme provides 0% interest loans of between £100,000 and £750,000 to small and medium sized businesses, repayable over a period of five years following a six-month repayment holiday. For loans between £601,000 and £750,000 an 8-year repayment term is available.
Please note that start-up businesses (in the first year of trading) may only apply for KMBF Standard loans from £100,000 to £550,000 with a 5-year repayment period. All start-up businesses applying for a KMBF Standard loan need to demonstrate contracts, security, experience of the industry and ability to ensure financial viability and serviceability
